Ella Morgan is winning hearts on Celebs Go Dating.
She became the first transgender star to take part in Married At First Sight UK, and is now trying her luck at love on another E4 programme. She joins other famous faces including Chris Taylor, Stephen Webb, Helen Flanagan, Jamelia and Tristan Phipps.
But not everything has been going to plan for Ella in the popular dating show, as well as her love life away from the cameras. The 30-year-old has opened up about getting into “dangerous positions” before and made a heartbreaking admission about being trans.

“I have not had what I would call proper relationships as they wouldn’t introduce me to their family and friends, so I don’t count it as a relationship,” she told The Sun. “They just wanted to stay in and keep me a secret. Hopefully now is my time. This is the best Ella I’ve ever been. I know who I am now and what I can offer and what I want and need from a guy.
“I have no filter. I don’t want to upset any of the guys if I’m not into them but it is best to throw myself into the deep end and I think it’s important to always be up front, and true to yourself in life,” she explained. Ella admitted fears she’d be “beaten up” when men would find out she was transgender. “It was always that fear – when do I tell someone?”
“There were times when I was in dangerous positions. There have been some things that have happened which aren’t very nice. I have learnt from them though. You don’t know someone’s reaction. My dad didn’t want me out at night in case someone took advantage or tried to hurt me – so there were times when I couldn’t be myself. If I can feel safe, I am fine, but I can only feel safe once I have told them I’m trans,” she concluded.
Previously on Celebs Go Dating, Ella was left fuming after she faced an abrupt rejection from a fellow co-star. Ella’s search for love hit a disappointing snag when she got turned down for not choosing her date as her first pick.

When social media influencer Liam Brunning was asked about dating her, he initially seemed keen, remarking: “Yeah I thought we got on quite well. We bounced off each other.” However, the plot twisted when he bluntly declared: “But, obviously I’m no second best so I’d probably have to put that in the bin, to be honest.”
As the show cut away to Ella, she vented to the camera: “I came in today so confident, loving myself and I’ve just been pied twice.” Liam said he would have accepted a date with Ella had she approached him first. Standing her ground, Ella retorted: “I only spoke to you for like ten f****** minutes, I had a load of men to choose from.”
