The world was shocked when Harry Styles revealed he had shaved his famous hair off, with fans split over whether it was a good or bad look for the British popstar. However, a hair transplant expert says he thinks it was a different kind of choice, one to rescue his receding hairline.
The Watermelon Sugar singer left fans feeling “emotionally” hurt, so they said, with the decision to go bald in November 23 at the age of 29, but Dr. Gary Linkov suspects it was a calculated gamble to get his free-flowing hair back.
“You can see that Harry’s temples have started to recede laterally,” Linkov said via YouTube. “His temples are now further away and pulled away from the eyebrows than they were just a few years prior.
“It [his hairline] looks like angular. It looks less receded and it looks more rounded and more symmetrical with his right side. However, his temples and his central hairline are unchanged.
“So my hypothesis is that Harry’s shaving one year prior was actually related to a potential hair transplant to balance out the contour of his hairline.”
Linkov also went on to explain that the recession impacted Styles’ left-hand side more and said he had progressed to stage three on the Norwood Scale which is officially the starting point of balding.
When is Harry Styles next on tour?
The Golden singer’s hair is not the defining aspect of his success, but it has definitely played a role in allowing the ex-One Direction member to forge a sex appeal in addition to his unique fashion sense and his flirty personality.
In any case, the 30-year-old now has managed to recover his hairline back to its previous form, which will be good news for the millions of fans around the globe. However fans may have to wait to see the pop sensation on tour again following his 2022 show, as there are no future performances announced as of yet.
