Martha Stewart and her ex-husband, Andrew Stewart, have not been on speaking terms for a long time.
The famous homemaker, 83, attended the New York premiere of her new Netflix documentary “Martha” on Monday, and was asked by People if Andrew has seen the project, in which she confesses to having an affair.
“The ex-husband? I have no idea. I haven’t talked to him for over 20 years. Sadly,” Martha said.

Martha and Andrew were married from 1961 to 1990. Their daughter, Alexis Stewart, was born in 1965.
In the trailer for “Martha,” the entrepreneur revealed that she was unfaithful to her former husband during their nearly 30-year marriage.

“Young women, listen to my advice, if you’re married and your husband starts to cheat on you, he’s a piece of s–t,” Stewart shared in the doc’s trailer that dropped on Thursday, referencing how Andrew cheated on Martha with her ex-assistant Robyn Fairclough.
“Didn’t you have an affair early on?” a producer quipped.
“Yeah, but I don’t think Andy ever knew about that,” Stewart then admitted.

After the “Martha” trailer came out, it was reported that Andrew is “furious” over his ex-wife’s confession.
“Neighbors of Andy and his children say the publisher is furious as he is very private and feels he’s dragged into the drama … again,” NewsNation’s Paula Froelich claimed.
Martha met Andrew on a blind date when he was a 23-year-old Yale law student.

As a married couple, they spent time revamping old homes, including a property called Turkey Hill Farm, where Martha started her lifestyle empire that launched her into billionaire status in 1999.
After their divorce, Andrew married Fairclough, who was Martha’s former assistant. The two eventually divorced.
Andrew later got remarried in 2016 to Shyla Nelson Stewart, the president and CEO of Fieldstone Publishing.

In 2020, Stewart reflected on her “terrible” divorce from Andrew and shared that the exes hadn’t spoken.
“Getting divorced was a terrible thing for me, because we were the first to divorce in my family,” she told People. “And that we haven’t spoken since the divorce is even more painful.”
“But I’m very strong,” Stewart added, “and I’m very motivated to get on with life.”
